At 89 she is a very strong woman.  Of 4 daughters and one son only two will have anything to do with her.  That is myself and Joey the youngest.  We help as much as we can.  She does have SS.  She has to go to the Food Pantry on occassion for food. But she is doing ok.  I live in South Florida so I am limited on visiting her.  Joey has been the most helpful. Mom's other daughters won't have anything to do with her much less let the grandkids see her.  Since I am the elder i watched all of them grow up.  She does not deserve this.  Judgement day will come.

In the old days, as Elder, it would have been my responsibility to take care of who did her wrong.  I am still old school but civilized and patient!!!
